Yesterday was a sad day for fans of the Discworld books and games as Sir Terry Pratchett passed away at the age of 66 after a long bout with Alzheimer's disease.
I never read any of the books, but I have played the games based off of his works and they were such a riot with how they poke fun at pretty much every trope in the world of fantasy as well as games with the wizard Rincewind, voiced by the excellent Eric Idle of Monty Python, breaking the fourth wall with the player about the things he has to do in order to get anywhere at all.
But now, alas, now he has left us with Death leading him into the eternity beyond, he will be missed but never forgotten for the laughs he gave us with his work.
